Benefits
- good thermal comfort even when wet
-it can absorb moisture (up to 50% of its weight) and then release it again
- despite its slight bite, wool has natural antibacterial and antiseptic properties
- thanks to the lanolin contained in the wool it is partially water repellent

- it can be easily dyed, even with natural dyes, following simple technological procedures

Disadvantages
- susceptibility to heat shock (always wash in water up to 30 degrees or in a wool programme)
- can be infested with moths if it has been lying around in your wardrobe for a long time (can be defended with lavender, rosemary, orange peel, occasional airing or chemical means)
